Team America’s Service & Engagement Initiative stresses the need for organizations and individuals to give of themselves in order to create the type of unity required to achieve the mission of Team America.

Through our Service & Engagement programs, Team America is able to lend a helping hand and provide resources and aid to those who seek to better themselves. This approach aligns with our one community at a time mantra, focusing on what we can do together in our local communities to unite us under a common cause and reach out a helping hand to improve civic relations, community pride, and faith in our fellow man.

Team America’s Community Uplift Initiative focuses on building a sense of community, belonging, and self-determination within depressed communities by providing hope and ensuring justice.

Without a sense of community pride, and with systemic shackles that keep too many neighborhoods and generations of Americans oppressed, many find it difficult to show up, dive in, and stay at it. In order for Team America to strive, we need everyone, including those in the forgotten and abandoned communities, to join the fight. But when we ask people to stand with us, we must also provide a stable foundation on which to stand, bolstered by equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities.

ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Team America’s Economic Empowerment Initiative inspires development in underserved communities to generate solutions to common problems and resources required to close the gaps.

By infusing much-needed resources into small businesses and non-profit organizations that are making a difference for their neighbors and neighborhoods, we can allow those who have a financial and social stake in the neighborhood to unite the neighborhood. It’s only through this type of empowerment will broaden the immediate focus on survival to one that leads to a path of inclusive contributions to our communities and our economy.
